Heather touches my heart with her incredible way of living in grace, kindness, generosity and trust. She bakes loaves of bread for friends, family and strangers to lift them up. This painting is a peek into Heather's home, complete with large glass vessels, lighted curio, collection of cake stands and fresh roses. I tried my best to capture Heather's ever inspiring spirit and serenity. Besides the initial acrylic sketch, this painting is entirely oil paint with a silver leaf halo. Heather's wings were created with a palette knife. They are magnificent, thick and textural. All canvas edges are painted. The canvas back is wired for easy hanging with a single nail. No framing needed.
