VIEW IN MY ROOM
(Attention, this canvas may be available at the end of February. It is currently exhibited in a museum) "HERENCIAS" consists of a series of paintings, where I represent the figurines of my grandmother's house through that new look, that other vision of things through maturity or at least change, because at the same time I was aware of how I saw them and how they made me feel and how I felt them at that moment. In these pieces a universe emerges through a subtle juxtaposition of languages at the service of an iconography in which the recreated and glued objects serve as a fetish to build and reconstruct meanings around the living and the lived. In addition, in this specific piece, number 13, I wanted to create a change in relation to the other pieces, in this case the represented object is not intact, but fate would have it even with the care that I dedicate to the pieces , it was broken in the studio, giving me a very representative image of my struggle with art where no matter how hard, care and dedication you put into something it does not mean that the result will be positive, for that reason and playing with irony , "Winning horse" appears as a horse that, before its own astonished gaze, dismounts and breaks into pieces, sensing the future great fall.

artista multidisciplinal. Statement: From my own experience of attachment towards my possessions , I started Investigate about the links develop people with the objects around us , the need to retain and limits between possession and obsession. I am interested in mainly the limit between what is considered normal and diseased , reconsidering the parameters that define that things. From this personal experience , I was treating this issue in a more general way , focusing especially on everyday acts related to different forms and patterns of accumulation , from Conservation International as souvenirs to collectibles . I also interested in the spaces dedicated to the act of accumulating like The attics , storage rooms , cabinets, etc . The type of objects preserved there and how these objects behave in different spaces . The attachment, Accumulation , Vacuum Fear , Obsession and memory are key words in my work .
