About The Artwork
I was inspired to paint this because of the beauty currently in my life. I see the white background as the backdrop of my world, which is now pure and inspirational. It reflects the love I am feelings. I hope my viewers see the sweetness of this painting and that it motivates them to hug and to hold someone, and to sit under a tree and feel the cool earth on their toes. I generally paint in oil on canvass which is what I did here. Lately I've been using a pallet knife, as I did in this picture. I feel so natural with them as if they are an extension of my hand and arm.

As of today (December 26, 2023) I am 63 years old. I have been painting since 1995, when I was 35. Similarly, I am the founder of a Jewish humanitarian organization called Ve'ahavta. We have helped the homeless and impoverished in Toronto and surrounding areas and assisted those in medical needs in places like Zimbabwe and Guyana. I am a writer, and a teacher and student of spirituality. I also host and produce podcasts (The Avrum Rosensweig Show), and my greatest gift, is my son.
