I was inspired to paint this abstract work to evoke the colors and the spiritual quality of the landscape in New Mexico, where I once lived. The work is geometric and inspired by native American rug designs. The surface has a relief-like quality because of the layers of paint that I applied. I hope the viewer will find beauty and peace in these sunset colors. It is wired for hanging. The sides are taped with black tape.
