About The Artwork

After several inches of rain, the creek under the bridge in the woods is running a speedy current. The color of the water comes from the tannins in the oak leaves. It is the color of English tea. The shadows, we know contain dangerous wildlife, so we do not let the Heelers loose from their leashes. The woods are cool, even in mid-June and the blue sky peeks through the trees. Exiting the woods, the sun is blinding, heating the hayfields with opaque yellow flowers of the peanut hay.
