About The Artwork
This painting is inspired by the atomic bomb that exploded in the city of Hiroshima in 1945. Photographs show shadows impregnated on the walls of victims. The fabric used represents the clothes found on the floor. My intention in the treatment of this character was to represent the effect on these bodies during this tragedy at the time of the explosion. Like an X-ray image.
