About The Artwork

Blue cornflower symbolises freedom, vastness, courage and hope. These characteristics are undisputedly important to immigrants. The main reason for the whole migration process is freedom. People want to be free from horrible life conditions, free from totalitarian governments or even free to live a normal life (like for LGBT people). The vastness of the world gives the opportunity to select a new home, and courage transforms it into reality. Above all, an immigrant’s path is impossible without hope; it’s a basement, which helps to survive over dark days.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Originally from Russia, I've made my home in London, UK. Moving from one country to another was a difficult and emotional experience, but I found comfort and healing in painting. The process of creating art has allowed me to transform the negative feelings arising from my immigration into something positive and beautiful. My hope is that my paintings can provide support and inspiration to others going through tough times, helping to lift their spirits just as art has done for me.
