ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was playing with movements and strokes not knowing exactly what I wanted to create. I continued to grab colors that looked good next to each other. I like the red and orange tones. I feel the end result is cheerful and bold. Colors used are reds, white, oranges, tans, blue and grays. A light gloss glaze was applied to enhance the colors.

Hello, my name is Sylvie Del Duca. I was born and raised in Montréal, Canada. Art definitely runs in my family. My mother, aunt and grandfather were all artists. As a result, expressing myself through my art has always been my calling. In 1992, I decided to take painting lessons. From there I explored different subjects and started with oils. I then switched to acrylic paints, and it was love at first strokes. I specialize in florals, abstracts and a combination of abstract/floral.
