Hopes and Dreams (200x150cm - 78.7x59" inch) is a mixed media painting which content street art elements and a lot of hidden messages. Main subject are about some of our darker sides of society, with subjects like global warming and climate change as a dominant base. There is much to discover in this large painting and each time you'll find new elements and or interesting parts. It is not only my biggest painting I have created so far, but also a work with a strong statement. Art is such a powerful tool to communicate and with this painting you'll present something in style on your walls! This work will be shipped in a protected tube. This painting has an additional 5cm (2 inches) of extra canvas on each side, to stretch on a framework.

"My main artistic obsessions are nature, industrial subjects, abstraction and technology, but I am also deeply interested in the darker sides of society and mankind. Towards art media I take a holistic approach. All the technological developments of the past decades have made it possible for me to experiment with new digital techniques. But I also still use traditional techniques and materials like pencils, paint, graphite, oil pastels and ink. I blend all these new and traditional media in a wild and expressive way, often by building, destroying and rebuilding." -Sander Steins (b1973, Nijmegen, The Netherlands)
