House In Snow is a small 8 x 8” acrylic painting on a deep edge canvas. No need for framing. The house is in the Cambridgeshire fens in east England where I have lived, explored, painted and photographed for over 30 years. I am a British realist artist whose subjects include seascape, urban architecture and landscape, particularly the farmlands of the Cambridgeshire fens in east England, where I have lived, explored, painted and photographed of over 30 years. I studied Fine Art at York School of Art and Lancaster (Preston Polytechnic) in the 1970's and have continued to paint and regularly exhibit. After a long and happy career as an art gallery manager, curator and gallery owner I turned full-time professional artist in 2010. My work combines a love for traditional painting techniques with a fascination with the language and conventions of photography. My paintings reside in private collections throughout the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Singapore and Japan.
