About The Artwork
My interest is in the fleeting moments of consciousness,ephemeral quality of light and one’s relationship to time .The search of the marvellous, of the abstract, delicate, vague, voluptuously wordless sensation of transcending ordinary living beckons me . I rely on meditations to question,stretch and bend time to make the unexpected paintings happen. In this work I explore to look beyond what meets the eye to explore clearer understandings of love and the divinity attached to it .Technically ,this work has been done in layers of paint,glazes ,oils and turpentine over a period of months . In my simplest composition ,there is a wealth of arresting details .The painting reveals itself more and more with each view
