The pictures of the traffic jam on the Mount Everest are the most bizar pictures I've ever seen. What are we thinking! The most terrible creations of nature are the human beings. With absolutely no respect for nature and the depletion of earth for their own purpose. Human beings wants to rule the earth, water and sky represented by the origami hat, boat and plane. However the boy is still quite young, his perception of the World needs a dramatic change. Lets do this and educate our children to have respect for plants, trees and animals.

Iris van Zanten (1971) graduated in 1996 at the Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam and gets her Master, History of Art at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Inspired by Bible stories and Romanesque art she is looking for new Images telling a certain story. Are you afraid of colour? She is working with pigments and water. For giving the pigments a ‘hold’ she prepared the surfaces with sand, boneglue and Van Dycke Brown. This technique gives a softness to the painting and of course a bright color.
