Inspired by the sweet embroidered pillowcases on my grandma's guest room twin bed - the bumpy knotted fabric cool to the touch on a tear stained cheek, and the unending comfort of that musty old bedroom in a house that smelled like toast and coffee. The sticky stems of queen Anne's lace that I gathered to put in a jar of water, as a small token of endless love.
