There is always light in every impossible and dark situation life puts us in. There is no utterly negative thing that can happen to us. All the bad and negative situations we do not understand at first are good for us. Time will show why those things happen. The message of the painting is that you should always hope for the best and never give up. Even when its the darkest hour in your life.There is always light. The painting came to me like other pictures - I start to paint sit in front of the canvas and then pictures come. Or they do not sometimes:) I like to paint with acrylics because they dry quickly and I can easily play with colors and layers. All my acrylic paintings are covered with laquer to protect the color from water and fading. This like most of my paintings is ready to hang on the wall. It can be done by the frame. The sides and corners are painted and a part of the painting too. But ofcourse it can be framed as desired.

As long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting or creating something. Art and creativity were always a part of my life and my paintings, drawings, jewelry, painted mugs, designed books, hats, pullovers and cutting boards can be found in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Vietnam, Russia, New Zeland, USA, Australia, Thailand, Latvia etc. Through life I have designed advertising posters, shop windows, book covers, woven pullovers and socks etc. I have also published a book about gemstones and written some articles for newspapers. Writing is another passion of mine. I am a freelancer. I paint and started my own design brand called UNLA Design. I design and hand crafts jewelry, funny hats and wooden cutting boards with funny quotes. My designs and paintings are inspired by everyday life. And nature. And dreams. And music. I do not have a certain style or theme because I do not like to put myself into frames. My paintings form if I start to paint. All my paintings and designs carry messages. I like to create things that make people happy. That make people smile. If we smile we can make the world a better place!
