About The Artwork
Inspired by a picture from an online news, this is a story of a father getting on his feet by selling cookies after a factory explosion. The son in the painting is smiling confidently, while we can see the terrible harm that happened to the father. The explosion of cookies is my wish to the two characters I learned about in the news: if it were the cookies that exploded, their life might be a lot easier.
