ABOUT THE ARTWORK
TEMPORARILY IN AN EXHIBITION. BACK FOR SALE AFTER 4/14/2020. I was inspired by the boldly colorful flower fields that make the Netherlands so special in Spring. The geometry of the changing colors in the fields create shapes, mainly stripes, and patterns only visible from a distance. The richness of details of the single flower becomes sharp angled geometry from far away. How fascinating.

I see myself as an adventurous artist. The media I use in my studio span in history from the Ancient Greeks to the latest technology and app: this keeps my mind open and makes me feel that everything in-between is possible. I create videos for private and corporate clients in the Chicagoland and then I mix beeswax and damar resin to create paintings and assemblages in the original Roman technique of 'Encaustic' with a contemporary twist. I work following my free inspiration, participate in film festivals, exhibit in art galleries, and also take on commission work from clients who want to embark on creative adventures with me. I am particularly grateful for these collaborations as they always make me a better artist.
