ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work is full of various tones of greens and blues and has various transparent layers It is a cross between a painting with oil colours and drawing with soft pastels . The work looks ideal when framed . My work is about pure luminous,deep set colours in all their depth and luminosity, stylised on the ethics of modern minimalism . I am interested in the dissolution of matter and its conversion into 'spirit' ,surrendering the world of objects to find a single unity and transcendental interconnectedness in all things . My purpose is to evoke a feeling of fluidity and emotion . To achieve this I seek to look into the depths of radiance within colour and not at colour surface .
