The calligraphy is surrounded by a triple braided ribbon between two narrow borders. The golden painted Hatay tendrils (floral shapes) are not polished as usual, but shimmer with the slightly rough surface of the unpolished gold. The tendril of Rumi forms (stylized wing shapes) is drawn as negative form only with the white contour lines. This particular form, where each wing consists of further, smaller Rumi forms, is called "Hurde-Rumi". Two flower shapes are drawn on the calligraphy paper.
