Tomasz Klimczyk was born in Cracow in 1967. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 1994 he received a diploma in graphics (litography) in the studio of Professor Roman Żygulski. He studied painting in the studio of Professor Zbysław Maciejewski. In 1994 he received an honourable mention in the all-Poland competition "Landscape in Contemporary Painting." In 2003 and 2009 he won the 1st prize in the competition "Triennial with Still Life." He attended numerous painting workshops in Poland and abroad, e.g. in France, Greece, Germany, Slovenia, India, Nepal and Tibet. His works are to be found in many private collections, both domestic and foreign, e.g. The Arras City Collection of Paintings, The Tilburg Collection in Holland, The Georg Von Opel Collection in Germany and The Collection of Miyauchy Foundation in Japan. He is the member of The Association of Polish Artists and Designers, The Association of Polish Pastellists and AKWE Artystyczna Kreacja Wspólnej Europy [Artistic Creation in Common Europe]. Between the years 2009 and 2011 he taught painting and drawing at the High School of Art in Zduńska Wola.
