ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The first ideas I was thinking about when I started to create this painting were a "ghost" and a "secret". I wanted to paint the image that will say something only to those who will be watching it carefully. I tried to symbolically hide the secrets hidden inside all of us in this painting, but these are not clearly visible at first glance. Light breeze moves the curtain, the girl is mysteriously smiling and hiding something behind her back, in front of her is the memory of her childhood that as a ghost accompanies her for the whole life, a rabbit represents her favorite toy, her first best friend that remains her the feeling of safety in times that are uncomfortable…. There is also a lot of more hiding behind the curtain....The curtain in this case represents the places of the soul that are difficult to be reached or maybe unreachable. My favourite painting about the secrets hidden in each of us that are difficult to be deciphered. Acrylic and Ink on Plywood.
