This painting was inspired by classical surrealists like Dali and Magritte. I am interested in the absurd display of an exciting find that a treasure diver can experience in exploring an ancient world. Controversial worlds meet in the picture, like old and modern, spirituality and materiality, height and depth, or inner and outer, which they have an impact on our everyday lives, but we often lose sight of them.

I was born in Budapest in 1977. My attraction to nature stems from my adventurous rural childhood. Later, my technical studies, immersion in the world of physics, constant city life, and the influence of these initial experiences shaped my art. Therefore, the borderlands and events of nature and city life are important themes for me. In my earlier works, I was concerned with the borderlands and transitions between sleep and wakefulness, exploring man's relationship with deeper nature and metaphysics. More recently, I have painted urban landscapes that relate the monumental structures of factories and plants to nature, or machines with unknown functions and purposes that make the viewer think. My works evoke an everyday situation or event, reflect on the processes in the world, or just capture a mood. Visually, I draw heavily on my photos in my images, which I either put together in a collage-like manner or use one-on-one and only change minor details for the sake of composition or content. I currently live and work in Budapest.
