Its beautiful blue tone combined with the spirals of turquoise that meet the pyramid in the middle stands for the all-encompassing energy that flows through the universe and connects us with a deeper reality. It is a marvel to look at as you can discover new nuances every time it is observed, calling forth an atmosphere of meditation and reflection of one's self. Gemstones such as lapis lazuli, Herkimer diamonds, berg crystal have been used in combination with a unique resin casting technique that has become a trademark to Donna McCain´s style. This canvas work is truly an inspiring work of art that has a timeless and classic abstract feel suited for the most luxurious interior designs of this world. Germany
I was born in Germany as an American citizen and ever since both countries, the USA and Germany, have been my homes. At a young age, my talent for the arts was discovered by my mother who was a professional pianist. Also, my art teacher in school found me to be a natural talent and encouraged me to make more of my creative side. When I was seventeen I sadly lost my mother and this heavy blow made me determined to seek out the profession as an artist and shortly thereafter I enrolled in art school in Munich. Germany and the USA are my homes and I have done a lot of traveling back and forth. This helped my career, because I could get into the art scene of New York, Boston, Las Vegas and Seattle. Through contact with a friend I also have lots to do in Austria and created commissioned work for many clients including the Austrian State. Today I also have a music career that I successfully pursue. Generally I am a workaholic when it comes to art or music projects.
