Sara Verona's art is rich of presences, figures like characters and bodies. They all tell stories. Surely with a strong reference to Les Nabis, in Sara Verona's most artworks prevail synthesis, thick outlines and an intuitive and free use of color. Recurring elements are: not finished works, 'mutilation' or distortion of some parts of the body, allegories and symbols. The bodies laid bare are sites and filters in order to tell a reality. The uncensored figures which came up are to the limit of bodies like model of personal experiences and object to observe. Questions of the body, sexuality, identity and anthropological, but also whimsical, elements are blending on kraft paper and rough or half primer canvas.
