Into the deep Painting

The world around me has given constant wonder and inspiration. I grew up always drawing, painting, being fascinated with the world around. I try to explore many working methods, from abstraction to landscape and figurative. My interests at the time dictate the style of my work. Over the past years I have focused more on figurative painting as I am increasingly interested in the human form. My painterly influences are, amoungst others, Picasso, for form and vision, de Kooning and Pollock for expression, Francis Bacon for human form, David Hockney and Peter Doig for coulor and composition. I am working to bring meaning to experience, to delve more deeply into what it is to be here.
