ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Inspiration for "Invitation to the Dance 19-75" stemmed from a childhood memory of attending a lively village festival, where vibrant colors, music, and laughter filled the air. Me was deeply moved by the sense of community and celebration, finding inspiration in the rhythmic movements of dancers as they twirled and swayed to the music. Through their abstract painting, I aimed to capture the joyous spirit of that moment, translating the energy and vitality of the dance into a mesmerizing visual experience. MATERIALS: Gouache and acrylic on paper. Every painting contains only top quality materials. The paper on which the work is drawn consists of two A3 sheets. On the reverse side they are specially glued together with scotch tape with the inscription "fragile". This symbolises the duality of our world. The two hemispheres of the brain. Good and bad. Black and white This is part of a series of works. But painting can also exist as an independent work. The painting is signed on front and on the back. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be included. Colors may look a little bit different depending on your screen settings. Please feel free to contact if you would like to get more information.

I am a professional theater and film set designer and graduated from Moscow Art Theater School. One of my works was shown at Tate Modern art gallery in London and was included in the gold collection of underground movies at the ATA Film & Video Festival in San Francisco. My creative life extends beyond the studio into the field of filmmaking and photography, where I have received international recognition. My biography is the story of expanding artistic boundaries of the observer. On canvas or through the lens, I try to convey the depth of human interaction with the world of desires, feelings and miracles. My works arouse in viewers a passion to explore and express themselves and their inner world becoming what they really are. I am a dedicated artist. Throughout my artistic career I used watercolors and oil paints in my work. For more than a year I have been expressing myself in gouache on paper. They are here in this gallery. As well as some experiments with mixtures of gouache with acrylic, ink, pencil and applique. At present I live in Asia. But my inspiration and power rest inside me and never depend on geographical limitations. Each Person is a self-sufficient universe, the expanse of which I invite you to explore through my art.
