About The Artwork
My most recent artwork. An abstract style geometric painting with great energy and colors. Painting is a very large 60 X 60 inch acrylic on canvas and highlighted with areas of gold leaf accents. Gold leaf accents are applied throughout artwork for a stunning effect. Painting comes unstretched for shipping purposes and sent rolled in a tube. Painting visually measures 60 X 60 inches. Actual full size of canvas including already painted and finished white sides on edges measures 65 X 65 inches. There is plenty of room on the edges to have this painting stretched with professional looking 1 1/2 inch gallery style sides. Painting once received can be stretched at any professional framing shop in your city. Painting has been varnished with a professional grade satin finish UV resistant anti-yelowing varnish. Painting is signed, titled and dated on back by myself also. Painting is stamped with my studio seal on back also.

Jim Richards Canadian Artist I am a Canadian abstract expressionist artist with a 30 year artistic career, having sold my art internationally and also appearing to millions of viewers on national television. I paint in what I call a "Future Abstract Expressionism" style. I am a mixed media artist often painting with neon, acrylic and spray paint. Action painting are one of the many techniques I utilize in my work. My influences come from pop art, street art, graffiti and abstract expressionist art styles. I am inspired by modern masters such as Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst , Jackson Pollack, Sam Francis, Helen Frankenthaler and William de Kooning. I prefer to sell my works directly online which allows my collectors to acquire works directly from me.
