About The Artwork
All “Jimmy” paintings started as an everyman's diary. The character is striped from details, simplified with the intention to show only one thing - an emotion. I used acrylic colors which, as a fast drying medium, helped me in a quick gesture drawing of Jimmy, the main character, that I placed on top of more elaborately painted backgrounds.

After moving to Los Angeles, Dijana launched her career in the film and advertising industry, working as a concept designer, storyboard artist and art director. Amongst Dijana’s clients are such renowned brands as 20th Century Fox, Audi, Acura and Bentley. Her playful and unconventional illustrations have been recognized at film festivals and awards shows around the world. Dijana continues her work as a painter and is currently showing her work at galleries in Los Angeles.
