About The Artwork
One of a series of rusty enamel jugs, incorporating a screen printed image into layers of paint. Medium: Acrylic on paper Year Created: 2010 I have always painted household objects and enamel jugs have always appealed to me, often the more battered and rusty the better! I usually depict them life-size and without a discernable background so they almost become like portraits. Screen printing enables me to produce a variety of images which though similar are all unique.
