The Petit Palais, arts museum in Paris is surrounded by growing plants and trees, with a pond or an ex swimming pool at the foot of the Museum. Probably in 2100... Since 2023 many moons have passed and the human beings have left the city. It's abandoned but nature have regain its rights and another form of life have taken place in the French capitale. This series about the city engulfed by the trees and plants is not a recent idea but one I've have been mulling over for quite a long time! In fact, probably since the nuclear accident at Tchernobyl in Ukraine in 1986. The site have been then taken over by nature since the catastophe. The painting has a bright vranish for protection, the sides of the painting have a white ruban ; no need to frame. ready to hang on a wall . Aware about the future of our planet, between future wars over water, flooding, hurricanes and fires, nuclear accidents and viruses, I see though some hope about our planet: hope that when the human beings are gone, the nature, plants and animals will take their place back! The painting is painted on the sides; ready to hang on a wall; protected by a bright varnish

Figurative Parisian painter capturing the soul of Urban Scenes. Member of society of SALON D'AUTOMNE Paris Member of the Taylor Foundation, Paris Feb. 2023 PARIS (salon Les Artistes Français) March 2023 : LONDON :THE OTHER ART FAIR August 2023: TOKYO ART CENTER, JAPAN Born in the outskirts of Paris. I live and work in Paris suburbs. Living in a big city for half my life has influenced my work. I have a fascination for cities: noisy, overwhelming and lively, yet hiding people loneliness. I paint mostly urban landscapes: the interiors (shops, cafe, theatre house) full of details and colourful with very few details for the people: they are just part of the scenery. I’ve worked for the theatre for ten years and that experience gave me a love of colours, of framing my subject a certain way. I’m not looking for the exact repliqua of the reality but for an emotion I want to convey in my paintings through colors. My work is made of lots of layers of acrylic on a canvas, quick rough brush strokes and vivid colours. I use acrylic because it’s a medium that corresponds to my character: I’m impatient and this material suits me for it allows my painting a speed, a raw aspect, sometimes violent; I work in a kind of urgency.
