Artist Diana Janson was born in 1990 in the family of artists. Continuing family traditions (roots go back to the 18th century) she graduated from the Vilnius (Vienozinskis) art school and later studied secrets of painting privately. Diana's favorite genre of art - small format still-life miniatures and realistic images of flowers thoroughly painted with oil paint on canvas. The artist draws inspiration from nature and living environment, consequently her works are dominated by fruits, vegetables, flowers and images of old objects which have their own stories. Diana's dream is to master painting techniques to such extent that she would be able to create paintings which breathe life, and the viewers would not only enjoy the colors but could feel the taste and smell. Currently the artist lives and works in the Lithuanian (European Union) capital Vilnius.
