About The Artwork
Description Watercolor inspired by the impressions of visits to the city of Marx (on the Volga River), originally Katarin-stadt, was named after its founder, Empress Catherine the Great - the former capital of the former republic of the Germans of the Volga region. St. Petersburg watercolor on watercolor paper. The author hopes that the work will make a pleasant impression on the audience - will cause feelings of warmth, easy nostalgia for the past, produced by naive lubocity and warm work color.
