Kiddush at Beth El - Bensonhurst 2010 Painting

I memorize and record scenes of our daily life. This watercolor is part of a series called "My Daily News". I lived almost one year in Bensonhurst and every Shabbat I will join a small community on E 10th Street, Brooklyn, mostly Russian. Once they heard my father name was Igor, they adopted me! I spent the entire Winter with them and Spring, service was held by two holocaust survivors. At the end of long and cheerful Kiddush I will walk few blocks with the Vice President, he always wanted to know how my week went with my art work. I remember the month I apply for my Artist Visa, we blessed the moon at the end of Shabbes on the steps of the synagogue, and at this instant I knew I was "in"!
