ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Original acrylic and ink painting ‘Kilimanjaro, Tanzania’ on paper, the artwork is 39 x 29cm finished with a white mount and a black 60 x 50cm frame. An African illustration with a different sense of scale! This is my colour study of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, with the landscape fading away into the distance and the monumental abstract shape of the mountain on the horizon. Because of its size the cloudscapes lie at the centre of the painting, a fun composition for me to play with. Many of my artworks are created as private commissions.
