"Kill Your Fear" and free yourself.

Isaiah Berlin describes two concepts of liberty: “negative liberty is the freedom from external obstacles or constraints. An individual is free in the sense if they are not physically prevented from taking action. Positive liberty is freedom from internal constraints and self-mastery the rule of the self, by the self. To take control of one’s own mind, to be liberated from irrational fears and beliefs, from addictions, superstitions and all other forms of self-coercion.”

The Bible teaches us not to hide our light under a basket and tells us to “fear not” 365 times, once for each and every day. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2. Timothy 1:7)

It is a process that every person faces, if they will, that transcends race, gender and culture.

This image is based on a film scene from the 60's--it has a dangerous, sexy, jet-set James Bond feel to it. The good kind of dangerous of living out a risk, but for the greater good. Dangerous, because it is wild and uncontrollable and free.

Is it this freedom we and society all ultimately fear the most? Wild and free--free to shine and live out one full's potential, thereby "giving others permission to shine." (M. Williamson)
Kill your fear.

This series is fascinating in every light and throughout the day as the metal leaf interacts with the ambient light.

“Our march to freedom is irreversible. We must not allow fear to stand in our way.” (Nelson Mandela)
