Summary of life, mosaic of emotions. Our lives are juxtapositions, encounters with lives other than ours. Our lives that are told, those we live and those we imagine. Then there is the background, the wall, the decor of our lives.

France
1961 La Rochelle, French , Painter nicely schizophrene, What was your first contact with art? As an only child, boredom forced me to be creative from childhood. With characters cut out of mail order catalogs, I created mini sets and plays at the age of 7. I always loved to embellish life, decorate my school notebooks, paint on my teenage walls. Artist: I didn't dare to become one at the age when you choose your destiny, it took me years to let myself go. But my experiences nourished my art until it was time for me to take the plunge. In a first step, I created decorated house signs for individuals. Ceramics and enamel are rigorous disciplines. Then I designed sets for series. I added to my palette the creation of catalogs, exhibition stands, etc. Until the day when, tired of creating for others, I wanted to listen to my own delusions, live from my true passion and I set up my painting studio in 2010. Are there key themes, messages or theories hidden in your work? Escape from everyday life, freedom. Georges is my avatar: a polymorphic being, he is "I", he is "we". He says for me the torments, the questions and the joys of life. We never see his face, it is in a way to protect his anonymity. When he appeared to me in a fleeting image of my mind, he was pedaling on a small bicycle with the headwind. He became a recurring character in my painting. Since then he has often taken flight, climbing ladders, clinging to clouds, umbrellas, seeking in the airs an emancipation too rare on the ground. Rising waters are another subject I explore, a current topic. When the water rises and forces us to live differently. I enjoy imagining a life of cohabitation, perched on houses with a precarious balance. I like the idea of a mosaic world where everything is superimposed in my Klan series. A kind of comic strip where everything is mixed, the stories intersect and link in the same emotion. My life is a mosaic of days that follow one another without being alike. My life is Klan. In the series "Double JE" I confuse love with sisterhood, twinship, and sometimes even the strangeness of Siamese twins that fascinate me. The complex relationships between bodies that love each other, hearts that seek each other. If gold is often present, it is because Love is a serious and precious matter. In Pocassé, bodies complement each other. Give me your mouth and I will give you the floor. Give me your eye and I will look at you.
