Indrani is a self-taught artist inspired by the shapes, colors and form of natural objects. She is especially moved by the engaging simplicity of illustrations created for children and how Vermeer’s treatment of light can bring out the ethereal beauty of a simple moment in time. She was elected for juried exhibition, lightandspace, which was impactful in focusing her research efforts into a variety of new methods and techniques.
