“Compositions imbued with symbolism. I want to show a subtle level of energies, feelings and emotions. The strength of sensuality takes center stage in my paintings, as it is a source of love and sensitivity”. The work arises from my Canarian identity, Lanzarote. The island where I was born, feelings and desires to make my origins known come together. "Canarian neo-indigenism" is the term with which some historians and art critics have called my work. Lines, strokes and similarities in tonality come together to unconsciously shape the artistic creations of the indigenistas of the past. “Compositions impregnated with symbolism.
