Sometimes the work weeks seem so long. We finish Monday, and it feels like we have no more energy for the following four days. Then we finish Tuesday, triumphant that another day is over. Some days are not so bad. Other days we may feel like quitting. Wednesday and Thursday tease us with their proximity to the weekend. It is not until we reach Friday that we begin to breath. I hope my viewers can relate to the long 40 hour work week that we put in. This small painting packs a punch with vibrant colors, feelings, emphasis on design and complexity. Thank you for your interest in my profile! I have been mesmorized with art, painting, drawing and photography ever since I can remember. I used to beg my parents for drawing lessons when I was only five years old. I have integrated art into my life for over thirty years. I am a professional photographer and work out of a lovely art studio in my 1776 farmhouse. I love my rescue dogs, horseback riding, hiking, playing the harp and piano, cooking gourmet vegetarian meals and listening to international music. I also teach French and Spanish to middle school and high school students. One of my favorite past times is wandering through a museum and getting inspired by so many magnificent works. Each piece has a story. Each piece has the heart of the artist inside. I believe that we are all connected throughout the ages through art. Art is a powerful form of self-expression and is the window into all of our souls.
