La Vie En Rose Painting

This piece was inspired by the 1940's as well as the expressionist painters. the figure lays in a pool of blood, many objects are scattered about the scene. the tones are violent yet serene, this woman is certainly relieved to be alive. i couldn't help be but remember the song Edith Piaf sang whilst i painted this. she is a fugitive, very much a Bonnie and Clyde inspired situation, with the police coming to collect her, she and the others (seen in future paintings) have staged a elaborate death. please feel free to contact me on my cell phone or email. ill get back to you very quickly. and thank you for viewing my first of many pieces to come.
