About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by those rare wonderfully still days on the lake where the faraway landscape is reflected in the still water as if placed on a mirror. Everything is so quiet but there is a slight wind picking up on the left hand side of the hills that will move the water's surface changing the landscape promising to create another, different scene. This painting is done is oil with transparency to evoke the feeling of a watery landscape.
