About the Artist

Artist Statement:
I create bold, abstract, geometric paintings in encaustic and painted collage. In my work, I use the logic and formality of geometry as a framework to stir associations, ideas, and memories from the realms of the physical and non-physical. My process is intuitive, combining chance with careful decision-making to create balance and harmony with color and form. The play of light and movement are recurring themes. The resulting images are a visual language designed to spark the imagination and be freely interpreted by the viewer.
