Born in the UK, Chris McCrae returned to painting in 2019 after a 25-year career as a graphic designer & art director in the music & advertising industries. His work is defined by a distinctive aesthetic that delves into culture and reflects the complexities of contemporary life. He lives and works on the south coast of England, just outside of Brighton.
