The painting is inspired by a real life story of the artist's grand father who was waiting for his son at his apartment in Beirut. it was the last night, the last cigarette before going to his village where he died there. The art work inspiration goes more deep to express how short the life is, you will never take with you any thing, he left all his properties, clothes but he took with him all his ideas that always wanted to apply in his life. He did not die empty, but rather he died full of ideas and ambitions
