Layers of Memory Painting

Ukrainian artist, based in Spain As an abstract expressionist, I explore the complexities of the human experience through bold and dynamic compositions. I am interested in capturing emotions, states, and memories in my paintings, and I believe that abstract art can be a powerful means of expressing the intangible. Sometimes, I venture beyond pure abstraction, incorporating figurative elements into my work, yet the underlying theme of exploring human experience and inner world remains constant. In my work, I utilise a variety of mixed media, including bold strokes of acrylics, graffiti techniques, pastels and coal, to create dynamic and textured surfaces that reflect the depth and intensity of my subject matter. My process is often spontaneous and intuitive, allowing me to fully immerse myself into creating the works that are both raw and vulnerable. Ultimately, my hope is to inspire viewers to delve into their own emotions and memories as they engage with my art.
