ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Almost all the production of my contemporary works, especially of the latest realization, is characterized by a palette with cold tones, devoid of any realistic reference. The representation of themes and subjects is characterized by perspective views from bottom to top. This new vision, separated from an imaginary plane of our subconscious, wants to evoke with quotations from the great remote artists and with my figurative repertoire, an unknown dimension. Almost as on a transparent membrane, the subjects gravitate like wanting to cross it, compressing themselves to reach our dimension, as well as simultaneously the observer, ascending to it was invited to discover its true nature.

Art has always fascinated me and since I was a kid I showed a strong creativity and sensitivity. I loved to draw, sculpt, paint and engage in any creative activity: from comics, sculptures to abstract representations. For years I worked as a restorer, which gave me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of many artistic techniques and to refine my manual skills. From 2001 to 2007 I also worked as a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce.
