Manzoor Elahi is a contemporary visual artist, graphic designer and researcher who lives and works between Dhaka and Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. His distinctive artistic language emanates joy, Love, beauty, struggle, and peace while expressing the vibrant spirit, cultural heritage, and contemporary identity of Bangladesh. His interdisciplinary practice spans Installation Art, Painting, Graphic Design, Branding, Advertising Design, Illustration, Paper Collage, Video Art, Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Media, and experimental visual communication.
He received the Best National Graphic Design Award from the Bangladesh National Academy of Fine and Performing Arts in 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 2012 and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in 2014 from the University of Dhaka and was awarded a scholarship by the Dhaka University Alumni Association. He is also the recipient of several prestigious awards from the University of Dhaka, UNICEF, Relief International, and the Ministry of Industries, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Alongside his creative practice, Manzoor actively engages in research on contemporary visual culture, minimal art, design thinking, branding, advertising, emerging media, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence into art and design education. His recent research particularly focuses on Minimal Art and Life, exploring the relationship between aesthetics, philosophy, visual simplicity, and human experience.
