Bengalis of Bangladesh (formerly East Pakistan) had to fight a liberation war in 1971 for not only getting an independent country for language and cultural identity. The common people of the country took part in the war, ignoring the bond with their families and relatives. They used to write letters to them in emotionally changed language expressing their feelings, concerns and sacrifice. These art works were painted by using different colors, forms and the texts of the freedom fighter letters.
