The pictorial reference is the painting Liberazione di Andromeda, by Piero di Cosimo (c. 1510–1513 - Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence). The photo of the work, downloaded from the Wikiart website, was opened in Photoshop, where, with digital painting tools, I transformed the figures into stains of paint. This chromatic pattern served as a compositional parameter for the background of the painting developed in the studio with acrylic paint and spatula.
