About The Artwork
This painting is made in a Basquiat style. I love and have been inspired by the directness and the emotional form in his work. Later on also the symbols he used. I made, in my own style this work, a horse with a kind of soldier, or what is it, a woman sitting on a horse...? It was a lot of fun to work this way. Direct, expressive expressionism but also still a figurative painting. It has energy, it\s coming together, it's the game, and we are prepared to go on with it, till the end.
