Like A River Glorious Painting

I have always had a hunger to create, one that I consistently found ways to fill. In fact, I often described myself as an "Eclectic Freelance Artist". For years, while raising my children, I did various types of creative contract work in graphic design, faux painting, interior design, writing, singing, etc... Yes, the list can be exhausting but it truly describes my drive and creative spirit. Although, with a long time curiosity to put my creativity on canvas, a Facebook posting for a local art class caught my attention. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the unlimited possibilities. Now, I can’t wait to get up every morning and execute the ideas running through my head! It seems only natural that my creative energy can be fulfilled in one location...a CANVAS!!! When I realized painting would be an on going passion of mine, I knew I wanted to create master pieces that would find a special place in peoples homes. Most of all I wanted each painting to speak a message of hope and transcending peace. Life can be a journey of ups and downs…we all face them. It takes a confident perseverance to find our way…but with the help of Gods love and faithfulness we can! I want people to look into my paintings and experience a presence of this hope and a sense of peace they can find rest in. My art studio and home is located in Franklin, Tennessee just 30 minutes south of Nashville. I moved here after marrying my husband Tom, who is a local Nashville music producer and engineer. We have two adult children, one daughter-in-love, and one chubby precious dog named London. Tom and I enjoy being married and experiencing life together!
