Lockdown: in the bathroom Painting

I was Born in Venice 1976. I grow up in the Mountain area of the Dolomites before moving to London, where I’m currently based and lived for the past 20yrs. Art has been part of my life since childhood as my dad is a painter, but I was first drawn to Photography and only recently i’ve decided to follow my dad steps and started painting. I have been enrolled since 2018 to Hampstead school of Art, exploring different courses. I have discovered an interest for the Male Form, inspired by Singer Sargent, Keith Vaughan, Picasso, Van Gogh and Francis Bacon. Still learning the basic of portraiture, but my ultimate goal is to find my own way to show the viewer a closer and more intimate perspective of the person I’m painting.
